Donald M. Hamilton

DonaldMHamilton.jpgMr. Don Hamilton was born in Edmonton and had over 30 years of senior executive experience in business, government relations and public affairs.  His broad work experience included business consulting in government relations, member and President of Edmonton Northlands, entrepreneur, Executive Assistant to a former Premier of Alberta, and pastoral ministering.  Prior to his appointment as Ethics Commissioner, he served as a member and Chair of the Horse Racing Tribunal.

Through his diverse experience, Mr. Hamilton developed an excellent knowledge of Alberta and its people.  He held a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Divinity from the University of Alberta and was an ordained Minister in the United Church of Canada.  Through his education studies, community volunteer experiences, and involvement with the Alberta Centre for Ethics, Mr. Hamilton developed a strong base and understanding of natural law.
