Recent Changes:
On December 11, 2014 the Conflicts of Interest Act was amended to include changes that were brought about by the passage of the Accountability Act.
On November 16, 2017, pursuant to Government Motion 32, the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship was deemed the special committee of the Assembly for the purpose of conducting a comprehensive review of the Conflicts of Interest Act pursuant to section 48 of that Act. In August of 2018, the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship released its Final Report on the Review of the Conflicts of Interest Act.
